Marcia Persaud is the Global Head of Tax at SDC where she oversees the firm’s tax strategy. Marcia has extensive experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border tax matters across real estate, private equity, corporate and investment management platforms. She most recently served as Senior Director at Tishman Speyer Properties, L.P. where she advised on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings and financings. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Marcia held a senior in-house tax role at New York Life Insurance Company. She began her career in private practice at Paul Hastings, LLP and subsequently held roles at Xerox Corporation and Ernst & Young, LLP.
Marcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University at Albany, a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
