Markus Patzke is a Vice President, Site Operations at SDC. Prior to joining SDC, Markus served as Director Site Operation at Vantage Data Centers, where he was responsible for the operation of one of the company’s data center campuses. Prior to joining Vantage, he was Operations Manager at Keppel Data Centers, where he was also responsible for operating a data center campus. Prior to Keppel, Markus was a Site Manager at Zenium (a CyrusOne company). Also during this time he was responsible for the operation of the data center campus in Frankfurt. Markus started his career as an electrical engineer at RWE AG, a publicly listed utility company. In 2011, he switched to the data center industry.
Markus has an apprenticeship as an electrical engineer and further training as a master craftsman in the field of electrical.
