Derek Livingstone is the Chief Compliance Officer at SDC, responsible for all aspects of regulatory compliance across the Firm. Prior to SDC, Derek was a Director at an FCA regulated real estate fund manager, leading their risk, compliance and operations team in the UK. Derek has extensive experience in compliance in the alternative investment management industry with a deep expertise in regulatory compliance and operational risk, including ISO audits, IT security, data privacy (including GDPR) and fund structuring. He has also overseen regulatory implementation projects including AIFMD and SFDR and has participated in various fund board and risk committees.
Derek is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
